Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to get going?

Most dealers are live the same day. Sign up, import your stock from a CSV or your current website, connect your phone number and you are taking enquiries. We help you with the import for free.

Do I need to sign a contract?

No. Plans are month to month and you can cancel any time from the billing page. Your first 14 days are free.

Is my data kept separate from other dealers?

Yes. Every dealership gets its own private database and its own file storage. Your customers, stock and deals are never mixed with anyone else's.

Does it work with carsales and Autotrader?

Yes. Zimozo Dealer pushes your stock to carsales through its inventory API and sends feeds to Autotrader, Drive, Gumtree, Facebook and Google. Sold cars come down automatically.

What does calling and SMS cost?

Calls and texts are billed at cost: what our carrier Twilio charges, with no mark-up from us. An Australian number costs a few dollars a month.

Can I bring my team on their phones?

Yes. The Zimozo Dealer Phone app for iPhone and Android lets sales staff call, text and update leads from the yard, using your dealership's numbers.

Is it set up for Australian rules?

Yes. GST, Luxury Car Tax, stamp duty for every state, PPSR checks, roadworthy certificates, statutory warranty, your LMCT and ABN on every contract. Government figures are editable because they change every July.

Can I move from my current DMS?

Yes. We import stock, customers and expenses from CSV exports, including EasyCars-style files. Your current website stock can be pulled in directly.
